WWE Raw video highlights: New Women’s Tag Team Champions crowned

In addition to serving as the go-home show for Clash at the Castle, last night’s Raw featured the crowning of new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament concluded with Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah defeating Dakota Kai & IYO SKY to win the titles. Rodriguez & Aliyah are the first team to hold the titles since Sasha Banks & Naomi walked out of Raw this May.

After making a tag that Kai & SKY didn’t see, Aliyah snuck back into the ring and rolled up Kai to win the match.

“The culmination of a tournament featuring some of the brightest stars from the @WWE and @WWENXT Women’s Divisions,” Paul “Triple H” Levesque tweeted. “Congratulations to @RaquelWWE and @WWE_Aliyah on their #WWERaw MAIN EVENT win and becoming the NEW Women’s Tag Team Champions!!! #JustTheBeginning”

Also on last night’s show, Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins got into a heated war of words ahead of their match at Clash at the Castle, Kurt Angle made an appearance in his hometown of Pittsburgh, and more.
