WWE Raw video highlights: Logan Paul declares for Money in the Bank
Logan Paul returned to Raw last night with a big announcement to make.
Paul revealed that, after calling WWE’s executives, he got a special invitation to compete in Money in the Bank. He joins Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch, and Damian Priest in the men’s ladder match.
While speaking to his hometown crowd in Cleveland, Paul said the moment that made him great was when he left the city. He got to pursue his Hollywood dreams while everyone else in Cleveland stayed and froze their asses off in the winter. Paul said Cleveland can’t stop losing, but he’s going to single-handedly put some respect back on the city’s name.
The segment led to a brawl between the men’s Money in the Bank competitors. After hitting a flip dive over the top rope, Paul climbed a ladder and posed with the MITB briefcase.
Last night’s Raw also saw Trish Stratus qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Stratus defeated Raquel Rodriguez by disqualification after Becky Lynch got involved. Lynch attacked Zoey Stark at ringside and then also struck Stratus when she tried to put a stop to the attack.
Though she put herself at a disadvantage by allowing Stratus to qualify for Money in the Bank, Lynch said the upside is she now gets to face Stratus in a match with ladders.
Lynch, Stratus, Stark, Zelina Vega, Bayley, and IYO SKY are set for the women’s MITB ladder match. Bayley’s spot in the match will be on the line when she faces Shotzi on SmackDown this Friday.
