WWE Raw video highlights: Fallout from Extreme Rules

WWE followed up on Extreme Rules with last night’s post-PPV edition of Raw.

After Sasha Banks walked out of Extreme Rules with Asuka’s title belt when Bayley counted the pin for her, the situation with the Raw Women’s Championship was clarified last night. Stephanie McMahon appeared via video and announced that Asuka and Banks will face off in a rematch with the title on the line next Monday. The title can change hands via pinfall, submission, countout, disqualification, or if anyone interferes.

Next Monday’s Raw will also feature Drew McIntyre defending his WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler in another rematch from Extreme Rules. After McIntyre initially said no to a rematch, Ziggler pleaded for another shot at the title and said McIntyre could choose the stipulation. McIntyre said he’ll do exactly what Ziggler did and only tell him the stipulation right before the bell rings.

Though MVP has called himself the new United States Champion after Apollo Crews was unable to compete in their match at Extreme Rules, WWE has confirmed that Crews is still officially champion. The returning Mustafa Ali teamed with Ricochet & Cedric Alexander against MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin last night.

Last night’s show was headlined by Big Show and Randy Orton facing off in an unsanctioned match. The episode also featured Bayley vs. Kairi Sane, Seth Rollins vs. Aleister Black, The Street Profits vs. Andrade & Angel Garza, and Ruby Riott vs. Peyton Royce.
