WWE Raw video highlights: Becky Lynch announces she’s pregnant

The highlight of the post-Money in the Bank episode of Raw was a real-life announcement from Becky Lynch.

Lynch opened last night’s show by revealing that she’s pregnant. She prefaced the announcement by saying she was torn between joy and sadness because she’s at a point in her life where things are going to change. She said the fans have always been there for her and they deserved to hear this from her first. Lynch announced that she’ll have to go away for a while.

Asuka was declared the new Raw Women’s Champion, with WWE doing a storyline where Lynch said she asked the decision makers to raise the stakes for this year’s women’s Money in the Bank ladder match by making it for the title instead of the briefcase. Lynch said Asuka had beaten her when no one else could, that Asuka has been the best wrestler in the world for a long time, and she’s so happy this is happening for her.

Lynch also tweeted last night: “I have no idea what happens from here, but I do know that you’ve made all my dreams come true. I entered the PC in 2013 not knowing anyone, I’ll leave that same building tonight with my new family. Thank you all so much.”

This will be Lynch and Seth Rollins’ first child.
