WWE Raw video highlights: Balor becomes number one contender

Finn Balor became the new number one contender to Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship on Monday’s edition of Raw.

An angle on the show saw Braun Strowman get removed from the title match against Lesnar at the Royal Rumble after chasing Baron Corbin and destroying Vince McMahon’s limo. A fatal four-way match was then announced to decide Lesnar’s challenger for the pay-per-view.

After defeating Jinder Mahal to keep his spot in the four-way match, Finn Balor defeated John Cena, Drew McIntyre, and Corbin to become Lesnar’s next challenger. Balor pinned Cena, and Cena cut a promo after the match putting over Balor.

Also on Raw, Bobby Lashley became the new Intercontinental Champion, the Women’s Tag Team titles were unveiled and it was announced that the champions will be crowned at the Elimination Chamber, Ronda Rousey & Sasha Banks teamed against Nia Jax & Tamina, and some new faces from the most recent group of NXT call-ups made their first appearances.
