WWE Raw video highlights: Austin Theory’s unsuccessful MITB cash-in

Last night’s Raw ended with Austin Theory becoming the fifth wrestler to ever fail in their Money in the Bank cash-in.

Instead of going after Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal title, Theory instead tried to cash in his briefcase to become United States Champion. But Seth Rollins defeated Theory after Bobby Lashley interrupted the match.

Rollins issued an open challenge for his title in last night’s main event. Mustafa Ali was going to accept, but he got attacked by Lashley. Lashley then made his way out to challenge Rollins, but their match never got started. Lashley instead demolished Rollins and put him through a table.

Officials got Lashley away and Theory cashed in on a prone Rollins. The two had a match and Theory was on the verge of winning, but Lashley pulled Theory out of the ring and beat him down.

As the referee was about to count Theory out, he got back into the ring at the last second. But Rollins hit a stomp and pinned Theory to retain the US title.

Last night’s Raw also saw the build to Survivor Series begin. It was announced that the women’s WarGames match will be Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and two partners vs. Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross, and a partner.
