Raw last night was slightly down in viewers and slightly up in the key demos from last week, starting out lower but losing less viewers.
The biggest takeaway is that the first-to-third hour viewer drop was less than five percent, which would be the lowest in recent memory.
Raw averaged 1.84 million viewers overall and did a 0.56 rating in 18-49 and a 0.33 rating in 18-34.
Raw was first on cable in 18-49 and second to the late NBA game in 18-34. Raw won in women 18-49, men 18-49, was second in 18-34, won in women 12-34, and was third behind two NBA games in men 12-34.
Raw placed eighth on cable in total viewers, trailing seven news shows.
As compared to last week, Raw was down three percent in viewers, up two percent in 18-49, and up three percent in 18-34.
As compared to the same show one year ago, which should be noted was an episode with almost no live matches as it was mostly taped PPV matches being week one of the pandemic, Raw was down 21 percent in viewers, 21 percent in 18-49, and 37 percent in 18-34.
Generally speaking, during daylight savings time there is a change in the pattern of viewers where often hour two beats hour one because people come to the show late, and also that means less of a third hour drop. That was the case in 18-49 but in teenagers and over 50, the patterns were more usual.
From hour one to three, instead of the usual significant drops, women 18-49 gained ten percent, men 18-49 gained 12 percent, teenage girls dropped 20 percent and teenage boys dropped 27 percent, while over 50 dropped eight percent.
The three hours were:
- 8 p.m. 1.87 million viewers
- 9 p.m. 1.87 million viewers
- 10 p.m. 1.78 million viewers
