WWE Raw ratings up for Elimination Chamber fallout

Coming off Elimination Chamber and with the build to WrestleMania officially beginning, Raw did 1.83 million viewers on Monday night and drew a strong 0.51 rating in 18-49.
Raw was first in 18-49 with the show’s best number since last October’s WWE Draft. The episode was 12th in viewers for the night behind only programming on Fox News.
Being back on the USA Network, Raw would be expected to be up significantly from the show on Syfy last week. It was up 14 percent in viewers, up 15 percent in 18-49, and up 20 percent in 18-34. One would attribute most of the jump to being back on USA, but some of the increase would be based on coming off the PPV and starting the build to WrestleMania.
The Olympics changed the timetable but usually Raw does its best numbers from mid-January until mid-April, with a drop against the NBA playoffs and a peak right around WrestleMania.
As compared to one year ago, Raw was down three percent in viewers, down 11 percent in 18-49, and up 38 percent in 18-34. Keep in mind that last year was in the WWE ThunderDome.
Raw was first in 18-49 by a wide margin, as Tucker Carlson was second at 0.32. Raw was second in women 18-49 behind Below Deck, but was first in men 18-49 with an 0.66 to college basketball at 0.36. Raw was first by a wide margin in 18-34, second to Below Deck in women 12-34, and doubled everything below college basketball in men 12-34.
AEW Dynamite had beaten Raw seven of the last nine weeks in men 18-49, but there is virtually no chance that will happen this week.
The first-to-third hour drop was 14 percent, a little more than usual, but that’s probably because the first hour did so well since the show led off with Brock Lesnar’s segment.
The first-to-third hour drops were 11 percent for women 18-49, 13 percent for men 18-49, 21 percent for teenage girls, 31 percent for teenage boys, and 15 percent for people over 50.
The three hours were:
- 8 p.m. 1.95 million viewers
- 9 p.m. 1.87 million viewers
- 10 p.m. 1.67 million viewers
