WWE Raw ratings up against Monday Night Football

Raw last night showed an increase from last week and was well above what the show was doing one year ago.

Raw had 1.51 million viewers and 0.49 in 18-49. We don’t have a complete chart, but it was behind ESPN airing the NFL game and the pregame show on ESPN. It was likely behind SportsCenter after the game but we don’t have that number.

The NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons had 15.01 million viewers and a 4.48 in 18-49, which was 13.66 million viewers and 4.01 in 18-49 on ESPN, and 1.34 million and 0.47 in 18-49 on ESPN 2. Last week’s game had 20.43 million viewers and 5.52 in 18-49, but that was a combination of ABC, ESPN, and ESPN 2.

Raw was up six percent in viewers, up eight percent in 18-49, and up 30 percent in 18-34. The NFL competition was down 27 percent in viewers, down 19 percent in 18-49, and down in 18-34.

From one year ago, Raw was up 13 percent in viewers, up 13 percent in 18-49, and up 21 percent in 18-34. Those numbers don’t factor in that Raw is available in fewer homes. But it does show the product is far stronger than one year ago, particularly under the age of 35.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 1.62 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 1.54 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 1.37 million viewers
