WWE Raw ratings up seven percent following Clash of Champions

After doing one of the worst numbers in the show’s history last week, Raw rebounded with a seven percent increase to 2.27 million viewers for its three hour average last night.
Raw went head-to-head with a Cleveland Browns-New York Jets NFL game that did 11.80 million viewers.
Raw was down 14 percent from the same week last year and was 10th place overall on cable for the night. It lost only to NFL-related programming on ESPN, news programming, and one show on TLC. The second week of A Very Brady Renovation, after doing a monster number last week, fell 44 percent this week to 2.02 million viewers, pointing out once again the shelf-life of that kind of nostalgia programming.
Raw had the usual pattern with a third hour drop, but the decline was nowhere close to record levels.
The first-to-third hour declines were nine percent in women 18-49 and 20 percent in men 18-49. Teenage girls were up and teenage boys stayed even.
Straight Up Steve Austin did 879,000 viewers for its last Monday airing of the season, which was up five percent from the series low set the prior week.
The three hours for Raw were:
- 8 p.m. 2.42 million viewers
- 9 p.m. 2.32 million viewers
- 10 p.m. 2.08 million viewers
