WWE Raw ratings almost identical to last week, third hour tops first

Raw last night drew an almost identical number to the week before, up one percent to 2.70 million viewers.

The ratings pattern was interesting, while not like last week where the third hour was the highest, this week the first hour was low, the second hour had a strong gain, and the third hour was down, but not badly. The third hour was actually higher than the first hour, which has been a rare occurrence in recent years.

Raw was third for the night on cable, which is higher than usual, trailing only Tucker Carlson (2.74 million viewers) and Hannity (2.85 million). The cable ratings show the value of Raw and WWE from an entertainment standpoint, because aside from VH-1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, which did 2.08 million viewers, no other non-news program on cable broke the two-million level, with the next highest rated non-news show being Basketball Wives season 7 on VH-1 at 1.86 million viewers.

This week was down five percent from the same week last year.

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 2.64 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.82 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.66 million viewers
