WWE Raw notes: Naomi, Stephanie Vaquer, Seth Rollins

Notes from tonight’s WWE Raw.

Naomi opened the show following her cash-in at Evolution, pinning IYO SKY to win the Women’s World Championship. After SKY and Rhea Ripley came out and argued about who should face Naomi next, Adam Pearce appeared and congratulated Naomi on officially joining the Raw brand. A triple threat match was then made for next month’s SummerSlam.

At Evolution, Naomi seemingly finished her feud with Jade Cargill, who picked up the win over Naomi in a no holds barred match with Bianca Belair as special guest referee.

During an interview with Stephanie Vaquer, it was announced that Vaquer would challenge for the Women’s World Championship at Clash in Paris on August 31. After Nikki Bella was attacked by the Secret Hervice after picking up a win over Chelsea Green, Vaquer came down to the ring for the save.

No specific update was given regarding Seth Rollins’ injury status on Raw. Paul Heyman noted that it was too soon to know how injured he is. Heyman also pointed out that Rollins has until June to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase, and until that deadline nears, Rollins’ health is not a relevant subject.
