WWE Raw draws third-worst ratings of 2019

A Raw episode built around the Rusev and Lana marriage split angle last night ended up doing the third-worst non-holiday number in the modern history of the show.

The show did 2.13 million viewers on average, barely beating the September 9 episode this year and the June 10 episode against the NBA finals. The only other shows finishing lower were on this past Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Football hurt, as it does all fall, but that’s not the excuse since the Pittsburgh Steelers-Miami Dolphins game did 9.98 million viewers, the lowest Monday game so far this season.

It was a nine percent drop from last week with lesser competition, with significant losses in every hour.

Raw was 13th for the night on cable, also far lower than usual.

9-1-1, which features Ronda Rousey and airs head-to-head on FOX, did 6.26 million viewers and was the fourth most watched show overall on television.

The first-to-third hour drops were significant in every demo, with women 18-49 dropping 26 percent, men 18-49 dropping 13 percent, teenage girls dropping 12 percent, teenage boys dropping 15 percent, and over 50 dropping 11 percent.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 2.33 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 2.15 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 1.93 million viewers
