WWE Raw draws lowest viewership since July 4, demo rating up slightly

With two NFL games head-to-head last night, Raw fell to 1.59 million total viewers, its lowest since the July 4 episode, and did a 0.45 rating in 18-49.

Raw was fifth on cable behind the Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills game, which aired on both ESPN (6.57 million/2.14) and ESPN2 ( 1.35 million/0.47), as well as the pre-game and post-game shows on ESPN.

The Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on ABC did 12.86 million viewers overall and a 3.81 in 18-49. So the total football audience of 20.8 million was barely ahead of last week’s singular game that did 19.79 million on the same three stations.

Raw was fourth on cable in women 18-49 behind the ESPN game, the kickoff show, and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. It was fifth in men 18-49 behind football-related programming. It was sixth in 18-34, fifth in women 12-34, seventh in men 12-34, and 20th in total viewers behind two-football related shows and 17 news shows.

Raw was down seven percent in viewers, up one percent in 18-49, and down 16 percent in 18-34 from last week.

From one year ago, Raw was down 11 percent in viewers, down 10 percent in 18-49, and down 19 percent in 18-34. But that was against lesser NFL competition as the game last year did 13.76 million viewers and a 4.57 in 18-49, as compared to a combined 6.42 in 18-49 last night.

Women stuck with Raw better than men, as the first-to-third hour drop was three percent with women 18-49, 12 percent in men 18-49, a 13 percent increase in women 12-34, men 12-34 stayed even, and people over 50 dropped 17 percent.
