WWE officially unveils NXT UK Tag Team titles

WWE has officially unveiled another championship for NXT’s United Kingdom brand.

At today’s television tapings in Plymouth, England, Triple H appeared and unveiled the NXT UK Tag Team title belts. How the inaugural champions will be decided has yet to be revealed.

When NXT UK was first announced, it was noted that the brand would be getting its own set of Tag Team titles at some point. Pete Dunne is currently the NXT UK Champion, and the first NXT UK Women’s Champion was crowned as part of a tournament that took place at August’s tapings in Birmingham, England.

The first episode of NXT will premiere on the WWE Network at 3 p.m. Eastern time this Wednesday (October 17). Nigel McGuinness and Vic Joseph will be the commentary team for the series, British TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya will be the backstage interviewer, Andy Shepherd is the ring announcer, and Johnny Saint is the on-screen general manager.
