WWE NXT video highlights: WALTER vs. Kushida

A big first-time matchup headlined last night’s episode of NXT.

As the “Wednesday Night War” reached its second week, WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER faced off with Kushida in NXT’s main event. WALTER’s title wasn’t on the line in the match.

Another non-title match took place last night, with NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong facing Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. Former North American Champion Velveteen Dream appeared after the match and revealed that he’ll be getting his rematch for Strong’s title in two weeks.

Tommaso Ciampa also appeared after Strong vs. Scott and continued to have his eyes on Adam Cole’s NXT Championship.

In the Women’s title picture, Rhea Ripley defeated Aliyah and Bianca Belair defeated Dakota Kai last night. Both cut post-match promos and said they want the next shot at Shayna Baszler’s title

One title change took place last night, with Lio Rush defeating Drew Gulak to win the Cruiserweight Championship.
