WWE moves Monday’s Raw to Performance Center

This coming Monday’s Raw has officially been moved to the WWE Performance Center.

WWE issued a statement announcing the news this afternoon: “This Monday night, Raw will air live as regularly scheduled and emanate from WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. The event was originally scheduled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.”

Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena was set to host the show. Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto announced today that — as of Monday morning — gatherings of more than 250 people are being prohibited.

Monday’s Raw falls on March 16, with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin set to appear as part of 3/16 Day. A contract signing for The Undertaker and AJ Styles’ match at WrestleMania 36 had also been announced for the episode, along with the PPG Paints Arena advertising that Edge would appear.

This is the second episode of WWE television that’s been moved due to the coronavirus outbreak. Tonight’s SmackDown was also moved from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan to the Performance Center.

The Performance Center hosted this week’s episode of NXT, but that was because of Full Sail Live being unavailable due to Full Sail University’s annual Hall of Fame week.
