WWE Mixed Match Challenge: Updated playoff bracket

One semifinal is set and two more quarterfinal matches remain as the second season of Mixed Match Challenge concludes in the coming weeks. What was a round-robin tag team tournament recently morphed into a single-elimination playoff bracket ahead of the finals at WWE TLC.
Two teams remain in the Raw block following results from last night in Minneapolis. Bayley & Finn Balor advanced to the semifinals after defeating Mickie James & Bobby Lashley. In Raw’s other quarterfinal match, Alicia Fox & Jinder Mahal defeated Ember Moon & Curt Hawkins (subbing for Braun Strowman). Fox & Mahal meet Bayley & Balor in two weeks for the semifinal match of the Raw block.
Four teams remain alive in the SmackDown block playoffs. The quarterfinal matches next Tuesday feature the only remaining husband and wife team — Naomi & Jimmy Uso — meeting the winners of the inaugural Mixed Match Challenge — Asuka & The Miz. Also in the quarterfinals, Charlotte Flair & Jeff Hardy take on Carmella & R-Truth.
The remaining quarterfinal bouts take place next Tuesday immediately following SmackDown in Austin. The semifinals happen in two weeks time from Las Vegas — and then the winners advance to the tournament final at WWE TLC in San Jose on December 16.
Winners of the Mixed Match Challenge tournament become the number 30 entrant in their respective Royal Rumble match. They also supposedly receive an all-expenses paid vacation to a destination of their choosing.
Two participants in the tournament — Charlotte Flair and Asuka — already have a match announced for the TLC show. Flair and Asuka meet SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in a triple threat TLC match for the title on the pay-per-view card.
