WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus returning forĀ  Canada’s Got Talent season two

Trish Stratus is returning to Citytv’s Canada’s Got Talent for season two of the series.

Stratus has announced that she will again serve as a judge for the Simon Cowell-produced show, which will begin filming its second season next month.

“I’m looking forward jumping back into the judges’ chair and taking in the awe-inspiring moments Canada brings of our second season,” Stratus said in a statement on her website.

Howie Mandell, Lilly Singh, and Kardinal Offishall are set to return as judges for season two as well, and Lindsey Ell will also return as host as the show will retain both its host and judging panel from season one.

After a one-off season in 2012, Canada’s Got Talent was revived for Citytv in 2022, and the series was Citytv’s most-watched original series in more than ten years, according to Stratus’s website.

Stratus is currently recovering from surgery to remove her appendix.

Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, Stratus is a seven-time Women’s Champion, and made appearances for WWE both on house shows and on an episode of Raw last month.

In July of this year, Stratus received the Lou Thesz Award as she was inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Waterloo, Iowa.
