WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley moving to NXT coaching role

WWE Hall of Famer and producer D-Von Dudley is moving from a producer role on the company’s main roster to a coaching spot in NXT.

Dudley announced on the final episode of his Table Talk podcast that he returns to WWE and reports to NXT on June 15.

Dudley had announced that he would be returning to work on a prior episode of Table Talk, but the NXT role is new information.

Dudley, 49, had been sidelined after undergoing spinal fusion surgery in February, another health issue for the former WWE and ECW Tag Team Champion, who also suffered a stroke back in 2019.

Dudley has worked for WWE as a producer since shortly after the end of his in-ring tenure with the company in 2016.

As part of The Dudley Boyz, D-Von was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2018.

Dudley’s comments on his new role can be seen below in video of the Table Talk show.
