WWE confirms Nikki Cross for SmackDown Survivor Series team

Nikki Cross is officially the final member of SmackDown’s Survivor Series women’s team.

WWE announced today that Cross will be part of Team SmackDown, with her joining Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke, Carmella & Lacey Evans. They’ll face Team Raw and Team NXT in a triple threat elimination tag match at next Sunday’s pay-per-view.

Banks is the captain of Team SmackDown. WWE hasn’t revealed any of the members of Team Raw or NXT.

Cross faced SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a non-title match this past Friday. The match had a stipulation where Cross would have been added to Team SmackDown if she won, but it was interrupted by Shayna Baszler and members of the NXT women’s division. Cross, Banks, Brooke & Carmella then defeated Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Mia Yim & Dakota Kai.

Cross pinned Kai to win the eight-woman tag match.

There will also be a men’s elimination tag match at Survivor Series. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Ricochet & Drew McIntyre are on Team Raw, while Roman Reigns, King Corbin, Braun Strowman, Mustafa Ali & Shorty G are on Team SmackDown. WWE hasn’t announced the members of Team NXT.

Rollins vs. Andrade is set for tomorrow’s Raw. If Andrade wins, he’ll take Rollins’ spot at Survivor Series.
