WWE announces storyline injury to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Backlash

WWE announced a storyline injury to Charlotte Flair during Sunday’s WrestleMania Backlash event.
Following an “I Quit” match that saw Ronda Rousey defeat Flair with an armbar applied through a steel chair, WWE announced during the show’s broadcast that Flair had suffered a fractured radius.
No timetable for recovery was announced, and WWE personality Kayla Braxton invited viewers to check WWE’s website for updates regarding Flair’s condition.
Rousey worked over Flair’s left arm throughout their match, including applying an armbar with Flair stretched across the ring ropes. The two also used kendo sticks and chairs as they brawled through the arena during the bout.
Flair’s sixth SmackDown title reign and 12th total WWE Women’s title reign ended with the I Quit match, while Rousey won the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the first time. Flair has also held the NXT Women’s title on two occasions.
Rousey had held the Raw Women’s title once before during her first WWE run from 2018 to 2019.
