WWE announces presenters for 2020 Slammy Awards

WWE has revealed the list of presenters who will be taking part in this year’s Slammy Awards.

The 2020 Slammy Awards are being hosted by R-Truth and will air on the WWE Network and WWE’s digital and social platforms this Wednesday (December 23). Leading into the Slammys, WWE’s The Bump’s Kayla Braxton, Matt Camp, Evan T. Mack, and Ryan Pappolla will host a pre-show starting at 10 a.m. Eastern time.

The following celebrities and wrestling legends will virtually present Slammy Awards:

  • Shawn Michaels
  • Ric Flair
  • Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
  • Rapper and actor Method Man
  • Mick Foley
  • TikTok’s Derek Baker
  • Actor Rico Rodriguez and actress Raini Rodriguez
  • Actor and comedian Ken Jeong
  • Actor Clark Duke
  • The Bachelor’s Demi Burnett
  • Trish Stratus

It was announced on this past Friday’s SmackDown that Duke will be presenting the Tag Team of the Year award at the Slammys.

This is the first year the Slammy Awards have taken place since 2015. This year’s Slammys feature nominees from Raw and SmackDown.

Superstar of the Year, Match of the Year, Rivalry of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, Return of the Year, Ring Gear of the Year, Breakout Star of the Year, Female Superstar of the Year, Male Superstar of the Year, and Moment of the Year are the categories for this year’s Slammys. WWE held fan voting to decide the winners of Superstar of the Year, Match of the Year, Rivalry of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, and Return of the Year.
