WWE announces four matches for SmackDown

WWE has announced four of the matches that will be taking place on this week’s episode of SmackDown:

– Shinsuke Nakamura will defend his Intercontinental title against Braun Strowman. Strowman had issued a challenge to Nakamura after defeating him in a non-title match earlier this month, but Sami Zayn said Nakamura was focused on the Royal Rumble.

– In a rematch from last Friday, Roman Reigns & The Usos will face Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. Reigns & The Usos defeated Corbin, Ziggler & Roode last week, then Reigns defeated Corbin in their falls count anywhere match at the Royal Rumble. Reigns also made it to the final two of the men’s Rumble match.

– Sheamus will take on Shorty G in a Royal Rumble rematch. Sheamus defeated Gable on Sunday’s Royal Rumble pre-show.

– The Miz & John Morrison, The Revival, The Lucha House Party, and Heavy Machinery will face off in a fatal four-way tag match. The winning team will challenge The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team titles at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, February 27.

Miz & Morrison have been feuding with Kofi Kingston & Big E over the last few weeks.

Tomorrow’s SmackDown is being held at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With the show taking place two days before the Super Bowl airs on FOX, WWE is calling tomorrow’s episode “Super SmackDown.”
