WWE announces Crown Jewel event for November 5 in Saudi Arabia

WWE has announced they will be returning to Saudi Arabia in November.

During tonight’s Raw, it was announced that WWE will be returning to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 5, a few weeks prior to Survivor Series on November 26. It wasn’t said which arena would host the event.

The last time WWE ran an event in Saudi Arabia was back at Elimination Chamber on February 19. The top matches from the card included Brock Lesnar winning an Eliminaton Chamber match for the WWE Championship, Becky Lynch defeating Lita to retain the Raw Women’s Championship, and Roman Reigns defeating Goldberg to retain the WWE Universal Championship.

Last year’s Crown Jewel was held on October 21. On that card, Reigns defeated Lesnar in a match that was for the Universal Championship.

WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have agreed to a ten year deal that requires WWE to run two events per year in the country that runs through 2027.
