WWE 205 Live not airing this week

There won’t be a new episode of 205 Live airing on the WWE Network tonight.
WWE made the announcement on Twitter today, noting that a replay of Wednesday’s NXT will instead air on the Network: “The scheduled airing of 205 Live will not take place tonight. Tune into @WWENetwork right after #SmackDown for an encore presentation of @WWENXT”
This is the second time that 205 Live hasn’t aired as scheduled on Fridays. It was supposed to debut in its post-Friday Night SmackDown time slot after SmackDown’s FOX premiere on October 4, but a decision was made that day that there wouldn’t be a new episode.
205 Live instead made its Friday debut on October 11. It’s aired every week since then, with the only non-live episode being the one week the show was taped at Full Sail University due to WWE having SmackDown and Raw television tapings in the United Kingdom.
NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush & Raul Mendoza defeated Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari in the main event of last week’s 205 Live. Angel Garza also defeated Jack Gallagher, and The Singh Brothers retained the 24/7 title against an enhancement wrestler.
WWE will kick off four straight nights at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois tonight. The venue will host SmackDown, NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Survivor Series, and Raw over the next four days.
