WrestleMania contract signing set for WWE SmackDown

A WrestleMania contract signing will be part of the lineup for WWE SmackDown in London this Friday.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk will all be on SmackDown this week to sign the contract for their WrestleMania triple threat match, which was officially confirmed after a brawl between the three competitors last week. Punk announced the contract signing segment during his promo on today’s WWE Raw episode.

During the promo, Punk added some intrigue to the contract signing by saying that he’ll be taking a close look at the contract to see if it truly brings him closer to what he wants.

“I can’t wait to get my hands on this contract,” Punk said. “I want to read the fine print, and I want to see if this contract, if this match, gets me any closer to what I want or if it’s just going to be another rug pull from the powers that be.”

Calling back to comments he made during his infamous AEW All Out 2022 media scrum, Punk said he feels like he works with children in Reigns and Rollins. He concluded the promo by saying that he was responsible for bringing The Shield into the business — and he can’t wait to take both Reigns and Rollins out of it.
