World Heavyweight title match set for next week’s WWE Raw

Seth Rollins will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on next week’s Raw.
It was revealed during this week’s show that Rollins vs. Jey Uso for the WWE World Heavyweight title is set for the Monday, December 4 edition of Raw. Rollins announced the title match during an in-ring promo segment with Drew McIntyre on this week’s show.
McIntyre asked Rollins for a World Heavyweight title rematch on Raw, noting that he had fallen short against Rollins at Crown Jewel in his title challenge earlier this month in part thanks to Uso. Rollins stated that he thought that McIntyre did deserve a rematch, but that there were other stars who deserved a title shot more, including Uso.
McIntyre then attacked Rollins with a headbutt, and a cut opened up on McIntyre’s forehead.
Later in a backstage segment, Sami Zayn confronted McIntyre and said that he was better than he was acting, which McIntyre responded to by saying he was going to ask Adam Pearce for a match against Zayn next week. That match was officially announced later in the program.
The announced lineup for the Monday, December 4 WWE Raw:
- WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defends against Jey Uso
- Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn
