Vince McMahon documentary to air on Vice TV in October

A documentary on Vince McMahon is set to be released next month.

Vice TV is currently working on the project and according to a report from PW Insider, it will air sometime in October.

The documentary will focus on McMahon’s career as well as the hush money scandal broken by the Wallstreet Journal that led to his resignation from WWE.

Our own Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez were both interviewed for the film.

There are several other similar projects in the works as well. HBO Real Sports is said to be working on a segment focused on McMahon. Last month, Meltzer reported that Netflix was still developing a four-part docuseries on the former WWE Chairman with Chris Smith serving as director and executive producer. It is not clear if Bill Simmons is still involved with the series.

A biography on McMahon titled “Ringmaster” is currently being written by Abe Riesman as well. It is set to be released in March.
