Viking Rules match announced for next week’s WWE Raw
A Viking Rules match has been announced for the Monday, October 9 WWE Raw episode.
Ivar of The Viking Raiders will face Kofi Kingston of The New Day in a Viking Rules match on next week’s Raw. Ivar lost to Kingston’s tag team partner Xavier Woods in a singles match on this week’s Raw, but Ivar laid out both Woods and Kingston after the loss. Kingston holds a singles victory over Ivar as they last met on the September 18 Raw.
Additionally, the NXT Women’s Championship match originally set for this week’s Raw has been rescheduled for next week’s episode. Becky Lynch will defend her title against Tegan Nox on October 9 in a match that was postponed this week due to Lynch not being medically cleared for action. Lynch suffered an arm laceration in her match against Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy last Saturday.
Also set for next week, Nia Jax will be in action against Raquel Rodriguez. Both were involved in a wild pull-apart angle on this week’s show also involving Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
