VIDEO: WWE’s Kevin Owens mocks ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin on 3:16 Day

Kevin Owens has cut his own version of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s legendary Austin 3:16 promo as the build to their WWE WrestleMania 38 confrontation continues.

In a video released on WWE’s YouTube channel, Owens voiced his own take on Austin’s 1996 King of the Ring promo on Jake “The Snake” Roberts, but with Owens in the role of Austin and Austin in the role of Roberts. 

Owens used much of the same verbiage, but put his own twist on it as clips of Austin’s promo played simultaneously. 

For his part, Austin appeared on The Rich Eisen show today to promote his Broken Skull IPA and Broken Skull American Lager beers, and to plug his WrestleMania confrontation with Owens. 

Austin also told Eisen the 3:16 Day origin story, as well as detailing how the Austin 3:16 catchphrase came to be at King of the Ring 1996. 

Austin appearing on The KO Show is set for night one of WrestleMania on Saturday, April 2.
