VIDEO: Ronda Rousey discusses hand injury, WWE future

In the first video on her YouTube account since documenting her time at WrestleMania 35, Ronda Rousey discussed the injury she suffered in the main event and her future with WWE.
Rousey confirmed that she broke the pinky knuckle on her right hand during her match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. She underwent surgery for the injury earlier this month.
Rousey said she initially intended to wrestle for WWE from WrestleMania 34 to November of last year because she and her husband — UFC fighter Travis Browne — wanted to start a family, but Rousey fell in love with professional wrestling, won the Raw Women’s Championship, and it became a real possibility that women would main event WrestleMania 35, so she decided to stick around.
”As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first,” Rousey said. “I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby. I could look down at this beautiful child and be like ‘f*ck everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby’ and you’ll never see me again. Or, I could be like my mom, who — she trained while she was eight months pregnant and then won the U.S. Open [in judo] six weeks after giving birth, which was unbelievable.
“I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level — but I’m just saying, you never know. The thing is, I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m going to feel in the future.”
Rousey thanked everyone for their support and said she’s looking forward to getting a little bit of a rest and having “mommy/daddy time” with Browne.
