Footage of Cody Rhodes-Roman Reigns angle to air on WWE SmackDown
WWE has made a couple of new announcements for tonight’s SmackDown episode.
At Bad Blood on October 5, rivals Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns will team up against a common enemy in The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu). WWE has announced that an angle with Rhodes and Reigns was filmed at Georgia Tech University (where Reigns played college football) and will air on SmackDown tonight:
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns met up at Georgia Tech last night, Reigns’ alma mater in the heart of Rhodes’ hometown of Atlanta. This will also be the site of their epic tag team showdown against Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood on Oct. 5.
- SmackDown cameras were on hand to capture the intense conversation between two of the biggest stars in WWE. Find out what the unlikely tandem have to say to each other ahead of their battle against The Bloodline when their [epic] meet is shown in its entirety tonight at 8/7 C on SmackDown on USA.
In addition to that, WWE has added a Giovanni Vinci vs. Apollo Crews rematch to SmackDown. The story is that Vinci is out for revenge after being embarrassed by Crews two weeks ago. Vinci returned to SmackDown that night but lost to Crews in less than 10 seconds.
The Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California is hosting tonight’s show. Here is the updated card:
