VIDEO: Liv Morgan tries to ambush Becky Lynch ahead of WWE Day 1

WWE has posted an angle with Liv Morgan attempting to attack Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch ahead of their Saturday, January 1 WWE Day 1 pay-per-view rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship.
In the video posted this evening, Morgan attacks someone who she believes is Lynch with a kendo stick in a training facility as a group of wrestling trainees surround the ring.
Morgan discovers that the person in question is not Lynch, while the real Lynch appears behind Morgan, then takes the kendo stick away and begins hitting Morgan with it.
The two brawl for a short time, before Lynch breaks away and leaves the ring, telling a group of trainees to get Morgan.
Morgan unsuccessfully challenged Lynch for the Raw Women’s title in the main event of the December 6 Raw in Memphis. Lynch pinned Morgan while holding the ropes for leverage. Morgan asked Lynch for a rematch on last week’s WWE Raw. After attacking and laying Morgan out, Lynch accepted. That match is set for WWE Day 1 in Atlanta.
The angle can be seen below.
While it is never stated in the video, WWE is in Iowa tonight where Lynch and Seth Rollins have a home, and where Rollins owns the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, which is likely where the angle was filmed.
