Undertaker now facing Chris Jericho at WWE Greatest Royal Rumble

The Undertaker is still set to wrestle in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but it won’t be against Rusev.
WWE announced a change to the card this afternoon, with Chris Jericho replacing Rusev in the match. This will be the first singles meeting between Undertaker and Jericho since 2010.
WWE had Lana send out a tweet before announcing Undertaker’s new opponent: “All over the world, little boys and girls are celebrating #RusevDay, they smile for the greatest Superstar ever ! I’ve already spoke with @WWE officials to change that match because I REFUSE to let my husband @RusevBUL compete in a Casket Match at #WWEGRR! Happy #RusevDay”
Rusev and Lana also did an interview with TMZ Sports where they hyped up the casket match prior to it being changed. Michelle McCool then responded to TMZ’s headline for the article, which wasn’t a direct quote from them: “Had to listen to see if ‘crush his old a$$’ was ACTUALLY said! Guess some people are smarter than others…”
The Greatest Royal Rumble takes place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27th and will air live on the WWE Network. Here’s the updated card:
- 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble match
- Universal Champion Brock Lesnar defending against Roman Reigns in a steel cage match
- John Cena vs. Triple H
