You can add Paddy Pimblett’s name to the list of UFC fighters interested in potentially crossing over to WWE.

The 29-year-old is scheduled to face Bobby Green in a lightweight bout tonight at UFC 304. He spoke with DAZN ahead of the fight and was asked about possibly making an appearance in TKO’s wrestling company.

“Yes, I have thought about that, to be honest,” Pimblett responded.

“I have because I used to love the WWE growing up. Shawn Michaels, The Heartbreak Kid is my favorite fighter. I’d love to Sweet Chin Music someone in the cage in the UFC. D-Generation X, when I was even younger, X-Pac was my favorite wrestler.”

“So yeah, I would. WWE pays big money as well and you’ve got to have a character, you’ve got to have a personality and I’ve got a personality, so it would work. So yeah, Triple H, if you ever wanted to sign me up, just let me know I’ll make an appearance for some cash.”

Pimblett is 5-0 in the UFC since debuting for the promotion in September 2021. In his most recent fight, he defeated Tony Ferguson via unanimous decision at UFC 296.

UFC president Dana White has said he’s open to the idea of fighters from his company crossing over to WWE.

“Listen, some of the fighters who fight here have always dreamed about doing a WWE match or whatever it is and I don’t have a problem with that,” White said at a post-event media scrum in May. “I didn’t have a problem with that when Vince was consistently f—ing me for no reason and now that that’s not the case anymore, I, obviously, would absolutely do it.”

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis has previously said he is “in talks” with WWE.

“Yeah, we actually in talks right now. We’ve been talking for a few months now. I was supposed to go down there in February to check everything out.”

UFC 304: Edwards vs Muhammad 2 takes place tonight at the Co-Op Live in Manchester, England.
