Two titles change hands at WWE TLC

As we enter Royal Rumble season, two titles changed hands at tonight’s TLC pay-per-view.
Asuka defeated Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in their tables, ladders, and chairs main event to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The finish saw Ronda Rousey get involved in the match and continue her storylines with both Lynch and Charlotte. While Lynch and Charlotte were fighting near the top of a ladder, Rousey came out, knocked the ladder over, and walked to the back. Asuka then climbed another ladder that was set up and won the title.
This is Asuka’s first title reign on the main roster.
Rousey had retained her Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax earlier in the show. There was an angle where Lynch interrupted Jax during a backstage segment after that match, kicked and punched Jax, and told Jax to keep her name out of her mouth.
The Intercontinental title also changed hands at TLC as Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins to win the title. The story of the finish involved Rollins getting mad when Ambrose tried to stop Rollins from attacking him by putting his hand out for a Shield fist bump. Rollins continued to attack Ambrose. He went for a stomp, but Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds to win.
