Two six-person tag matches added to WWE Raw

Two six-person tag matches have been added to tonight’s episode of Raw.

Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will team with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler as they take on Asuka, Naomi & Lana in a six-woman tag match on Raw tonight. Damian Priest & The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) will also face The Miz, Elias & Jaxson Ryker in a six-man tag on tonight’s show.

In the main event of last week’s Raw, Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair after Ripley cost Charlotte the match. Charlotte then snapped and beat down the referee after the match. WWE announced after last week’s show that Charlotte has been suspended indefinitely in storyline and fined $100,000. The reason for the suspension angle was Charlotte undergoing dental surgery.

Ripley won the Raw Women’s Championship by defeating Asuka at WrestleMania 37 night two earlier this month.

Naomi & Lana defeated Jax & Baszler in a non-title match on Raw last week. After a distraction by Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, Jax walked out of the match and went after them. Baszler later blamed Jax for their loss.

Also on Raw last week, Priest defeated The Miz and Elias defeated Kingston in singles matches. Miz & John Morrison had defeated Priest in a handicap match the previous week. Kingston & Woods had also defeated Elias & Ryker on the previous week’s Raw.

• WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will address Drew McIntyre
