Two Money in the Bank qualifying matches set for WWE Raw

Two Money in the Bank qualifying matches are set for tonight’s episode of Raw.

Both will be triple threat matches, with Sasha Banks facing Ember Moon and Ruby Riott for a spot in the women’s ladder match and Roman Reigns taking on Finn Balor and Sami Zayn for a spot in the men’s one. With Money in the Bank again being a dual-brand pay-per-view, WWE hasn’t officially announced how many ladder matches there will be.

Reigns and Riott are both coming off wins at Backlash. Reigns defeated Samoa Joe in the main event, while Riott beat Bayley on the pre-show. The story of Riott vs. Bayley was that Banks didn’t accompany Bayley to the ring to help even the odds against The Riott Squad after Bayley watched from backstage and didn’t help Banks against the group last Monday.

On Sunday’s Backlash post-show, it was revealed that The Miz would also be in a qualifying match on this week’s SmackDown.

Money in the Bank is taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on June 17th.
