Two matches booked for next week’s WWE SmackDown

Two matches stemming from angles on this week’s show have been announced for the Friday, July 12 WWE SmackDown.

Michin will challenge reigning Queen of the Ring Nia Jax on next week’s WWE SmackDown. Michin saved Bayley from an attack at the hands of Jax on Friday’s SmackDown in Toronto, sending the Queen packing with a kendo stick. The bout is a rematch from the June 14 SmackDown where Jax defeated Michin in under two minutes.

A segment that aired on WWE’s digital media channels on Friday also set up a tag team bout for next week’s SmackDown.

Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews will team up to take on the duo of Angel & Berto (Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo). Corbin was involved in a war of words with Santos Escobar in the digital media segment, then ended up attacked by Escobar’s Legado Del Fantasma allies Berto & Angel. Crews made the save for Corbin at the end of the angle. Video of the segment is embedded below.

• Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews vs. Angel & Berto
