Triple H: WWE is ‘up for the challenge’ of international WrestleMania

Holding WrestleMania outside of North America would be difficult logistically, but Paul “Triple H” Levesque says WWE is up for the challenge.
WrestleMania has only taken place outside of the United States twice, with Canada hosting the event in both 1990 and 2002. But as WWE becomes a more global company, the prospect of other countries hosting WrestleMania looks more likely. London is one of the international cities that has expressed interest in hosting the event.
Levesque recently told the Daily Mail that his goal is to bring WWE where the fans are the best and where the company can do the most business. WrestleMania requires a much larger logistical effort than any other WWE show, but Levesque is open to navigating through that.
“To answer the WrestleMania question, that’s like the Super Bowl. So the process of that going other places, people don’t understand the logistics of what that takes,” Levesque said. “Just going to Las Vegas, I can’t tell you the logistical effort that takes.
“They’ll be in the market for weeks setting up the set, people on the ground running stuff. So when that becomes international, the logistics become even harder. That’s the challenge, but we’re up for the challenge.”
Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is the venue for WrestleMania 41 this weekend, and WrestleMania 42 will be held at the Superdome in New Orleans in 2026. Indianapolis is guaranteed a future WrestleMania as part of a deal between the city and WWE, but the year for the event is not known yet. Past that, no other future WrestleMania locations have been confirmed.
Levesque also told the Daily Mail that WWE still has plans of launching an NXT Europe, saying that he still believes “in the expansion of what we’re doing.” NXT Europe was first announced in 2022 but has yet to come to fruition. Levesque named Japan, the Middle East, and Australia as other places where WWE has future expansion aspirations.
“The future of the business for us is going to Japan, the Middle East, Australia and all of these places where we can help support and grow a thriving industry,” he said.
