Triple H: WWE Draft to begin in a few weeks, every wrestler eligible

The WWE Draft is set to return in just a matter of weeks.

On Friday’s SmackDown, Triple H came out and put over the success of WrestleMania 39. He then shifted focus toward the future, announcing the return of the WWE Draft “in a few weeks”. He mentioned that every WWE Superstar would be eligible for the draft. He finished the promo by saying that when it is all said and done, this year’s draft will truly change the game.

The last WWE Draft took place in October of 2021, with WWE foregoing doing a draft last year. Notable stars that switched brands included Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, The New Day, and Jeff Hardy going to SmackDown and Bianca Belair, Edge, and Rey & Dominik Mysterio heading to Raw. Hit Row, Aliyah, and Austin Theory were also called up from NXT during this draft.

Triple H opened with a promo on Monday’s Raw, where he assured fans that WWE “is going nowhere” following news of WWE’s merger with the UFC on Sunday.
