Triple H teases Goldberg WWE return: ‘We’ll talk more very soon’

After his appearance at Bad Blood, WWE is continuing to tease that we’ll be seeing more of Goldberg.
Goldberg — who has not wrestled since 2022 — was in Atlanta on Saturday for an angle with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. When Gunther mocked him and his son Gage, Goldberg attempted to confront Gunther. Security kept them apart, but Goldberg warned Gunther that he’s “next.”
At the post-show press conference, Paul “Triple H” Levesque gave a “never say never” answer while addressing if we could see Goldberg compete in a WWE ring again.
Levesque then made a social media post today thanking Goldberg for attending Bad Blood. It includes audio of the two speaking backstage at the event. While there’s no audio of their conversation, Levesque wrote that he and Goldberg will talk more very soon.
The 57-year-old Goldberg has said he would love to return to the ring for a retirement match. As of now, his last match was a loss to Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022.
Gunther has a World Heavyweight Championship defense against Sami Zayn on Raw tonight (October 7). If Gunther retains, he’ll face Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia next month.
