Triple H confirms New Orleans will host WWE Money in the Bank in 2026, WrestleMania ‘at a future date’

Triple H has given an update on WWE’s schedule for next year.
In a video posted on his social media, WWE’s CCO announced that Money in the Bank would be coming to New Orleans on August 29, 2026. Additionally, he announced that WrestleMania would be coming to the city “at a later date.”
He finished by thanking local city and state officials for their continued support as their major live event calendar “continues to expand and evolve.”
The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation told Wrestlenomics on Thursday that the WWE informed them that WrestleMania 42 would no longer be taking place at the Superdome on April 11 and 12 of next year. Las Vegas is now considered the front runner to host WrestleMania for the second year in a row.
“After the success of this year’s event, the new leadership running WWE decided that they would rather hold next year’s event in Las Vegas and see what response they get from fans, according to an industry official who wasn’t authorized to be quoted by name,“ NOLA.com’s Anthony Mcauley wrote.
This would be the latest the Money in the Bank pay-per-view has been held in a calendar year. Previous shows have taken place in May, June, and July.
