Toni Storm joins Team SmackDown for WWE Survivor Series

The final member of SmackDown’s women’s team for Survivor Series has now been revealed.

Toni Storm will be the fifth and final member of Team SmackDown, taking the spot that was opened up when WWE authority figure Sonya Deville removed Aliyah from the team. Storm will team with Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi & Natalya against Raw’s Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella & Zelina Vega.

“With #SurvivorSeries fast approaching, I want to ensure each brand is represented by the best and brightest Superstars,” Deville tweeted. “Therefore, it’s my pleasure to announce that TONI STORM will be the fifth and final member of the #Smackdown Women’s team. Congrats and good luck on Sunday!”

Aliyah was removed from the team on last week’s SmackDown. With help from an assist by Naomi, Aliyah got the win when she teamed with Banks & Naomi against Baszler, Shotzi & Natalya on the episode. But Deville, who is feuding with Naomi, informed Aliyah after the match that she’s no longer on Team SmackDown.

Storm interrupted SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair last Friday and challenged her to a title match, but Charlotte refused to face her.

Survivor Series is taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York this Sunday. Here’s the updated card for the PPV:
