Tommaso Ciampa appears on WWE Raw, confronts Dolph Ziggler

Tommaso Ciampa appeared on tonight’s episode of Raw, confronting Dolph Ziggler.

Ciampa appeared on commentary during a match Ziggler was involved in, as he teamed with partner Robert Roode against The Street Profits. The end of the match had Ziggler distracted by Ciampa at ringside. Ziggler faked out Ciampa with a superkick motion. The two got into a brawl as a distracted Roode was taken out by a Montez Ford frog splash, giving the Street Profits the win.

Ziggler made an appearance on last week’s NXT, interrupting a championship summit between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Santos Escobar. Ziggler was confronting Breakker about recent Twitter posts when Ciampa came out and argued with Ziggler, then took him out, sending Ziggler to the back.

Tomorrow’s episode of NXT will be the Vengeance Day edition of the program. Matches set include MSK vs. The Creed Brothers in the finals of the men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Pete Dunne vs. Tony D’Angelo in a weaponized steel cage match, Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) and vs. Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles, Carmelo Hayes vs. Cameron Grimes for the NXT North American title, and Breakker vs. Santos for the NXT Championship.
