Three matches announced for WWE SmackDown

Three matches have been announced for tonight’s edition of SmackDown.

Sasha Banks & Naomi will team up against Raw’s Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan on SmackDown tonight. Kofi Kingston vs. Ridge Holland is also set for the show, along with a six-man tag match with Drew McIntyre & The Viking Raiders facing Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss & Jinder Mahal.

Banks & Naomi and Ripley & Morgan will both challenge for Queen Zelina & Carmella’s Women’s Tag Team titles in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 38 night two on Sunday, April 3.

Holland & Sheamus defeated Kingston & Big E in a tag team match on last Friday’s SmackDown. During the match, Big E suffered a broken neck when a spot went wrong and he landed on his head when Holland gave him an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor.

Now going by the name “Butch,” Pete Dunne made his SmackDown debut last week and aligned with Holland and Sheamus. Butch distracted Kingston during the match and then beat him down after it was over.

McIntyre & The Viking Raiders vs. Corbin, Moss & Mahal was supposed to happen on SmackDown last week, but there was an angle where The Viking Raiders were attacked backstage by Corbin, Moss, Mahal, and Shanky. McIntyre then fought off a four-on-one attack by the heels.

The Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina is hosting tonight’s SmackDown. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:

  • WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns
  • Sasha Banks & Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan
  • Kofi Kingston vs. Ridge Holland (w/ Sheamus and Butch)
  • Drew McIntyre & The Viking Raiders vs. Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss & Jinder Mahal
