The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions has signed a first-look TV deal with 20th Television, a division of Disney Television Studios.

As first reported by Deadline on Monday, the new agreement will see Seven Bucks develop comedy, drama, limited series, adult animation, and unscripted content for Disney’s entertainment platforms, including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, and FX. The deal gives 20th Television the exclusive right to review and potentially produce Seven Bucks Productions’ new TV projects before they’re offered to other networks or studios.

Seven Bucks signed a similar first-look deal with Disney for film projects last June. As part of the deal, the studio is currently developing a live action adaptation of Moana, with The Rock reprising the role of Maui, the character he voiced in the animated versions.

Previous television projects from Seven Bucks Productions, including Young Rock, the sitcom loosely-based on stories from The Rock’s real life, were done through Universal TV.

The Rock and Seven Bucks Productions’ co-founder, Dani Garcia, released a statement on the news:

“Disney has been our trusted partner in storytelling and entertainment for years now, and we’re ecstatic to expand our partnership with them beyond film as we set out to work hard and achieve the same success in the television space. In 20th Television we have a partner who matches our ambition, our passion, and our commitment to bring authentic, innovative content to audiences all over the world. Collaborating with Dana Walden, Eric Schrier, Karey Burke, Carolyn Cassidy, and the entire team at 20th Television feels like an unlimited opportunity for creative storytelling, and most importantly, entertaining a lot of folks out there.”
