Tag title match, Belair-Bayley set for next week’s WWE SmackDown

Two matches have been announced for next week’s episode of SmackDown.
SmackDown is making a one-week move to FS1 next Friday due to a scheduling conflict with college football’s Pac-12 Championship Game being on Fox. WWE has announced that there will be a SmackDown Tag Team title match on the show, with The Street Profits defending their titles against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. Bianca Belair vs. Bayley has also been made official for the episode.
Ziggler & Roode defeated The Street Profits in a non-title match on SmackDown two weeks ago when Roode rolled up Ford while holding onto his tights for leverage.. On tonight’s show, Ziggler defeated Montez Ford in a singles match. Ziggler got the win after Ford was distracted by Roode attacking Angelo Dawkins on the outside.
Bayley was on commentary for Belair’s match against Natalya on SmackDown two weeks ago. Bayley insulted Belair during the match and accidentally got struck by Belair after Natalya moved out of the way. Belair defeated Natalya in the match. The next week, Belair was on commentary for Bayley’s match against Natalya. Bayley argued with Belair and focused on her during points in the match. Natalya got the win by submitting Bayley with the Sharpshooter.
Belair interrupted a backstage promo with Bayley on tonight’s SmackDown. Belair said Bayley needs to keep Belair’s name out of her mouth and worry about herself.
Next week’s SmackDown is the go-home show for WWE’s TLC pay-per-view.
