Steve Austin’s original role for WWE WrestleMania 41 detailed
WWE wanted Steve Austin to play a larger role at WrestleMania 41.
Austin came out on an ATV on night two of the event this year and then announced the total attendance for both nights. He crashed the ATV into the LED boards around ringside, something he would later blame on not being familiar with the throttle system.
In the WWE Unreal docuseries which premiered on Netflix on Tuesday, a proposed lineup for WrestleMania 41 appears on the screen with several differences from what would eventually take place on the show.
Austin is listed as the special referee for a match between Bron Breakker and Drew McIntyre. The rest of the proposed lineup is below.
